Our terms and conditions
Whether you’re a high street florist or a grower using your own flowers to create beautiful funeral arrangements, we’d like you to join us and help to make more sustainable, compostable, plastic-free funeral flowers better known and more widely requested.
Achieving sustainable perfection is difficult and every business is probably at a different point on this particular journey. But we all have to get better and start with small steps to improve our environmental footprints. The first priority of this directory is to shift funeral flowers away from plastics and instead make them compostable. If you’ve got as far as reading this, you’re obviously interested in improving the sustainability of your business: we hope that you’ll continue to develop this in wider ways with year-on-year improvements and that joining our directory is just one part of this journey.
We welcome ALL florists who offer plastic-free, compostable arrangements which contain some locally or UK grown material. We work on a principle of ‘good, better, best’ for what proportion of your flowers are UK grown, rather than laying down rules and stipulating percentages. We only require that you are transparent and honest on your website funeral flowers page and explain where your flowers come from.
