Ways to explain your flower sourcing

The funeral page on your website will need to include a statement about how you source your flowers. Feel free to borrow, copy or adapt any of the statements below that fit your business model best.

• I use mainly imported materials but guarantee to include some UK grown flowers and/or foliage in each of my compostable funeral arrangements.

• I use a mix of both imported and UK grown materials in every funeral arrangement year round.

Bigger steps towards sustainability

• I use mainly UK grown materials but am happy include imported flowers to create the effects you wish year round.

• I use mainly UK grown materials but am happy include imported flowers on request to meet your needs.

• I use mainly UK grown materials but can also use imported flowers year round to create the effects you desire, and to meet your needs outside the UK growing season.

• I use 100% UK grown materials year round but am happy to accommodate specific requests which may require the use of imported flowers in my funeral work.

Doing as much as I can year round

• I use only UK grown materials year round to create my funeral flowers. In Winter this may include both dried and fresh flowers.

• During the UK growing season from (MONTH) to (MONTH) I use only my own and other locally grown flowers and foliage. In Winter my funeral arrangements may include both dried and fresh flowers, including flowers sourced from commercial growers based in other parts of the UK.

• I use only UK grown materials year round to create my funeral flowers.

Doing as much as I can, but not operating outside the growing season

• I use only my own and other locally sourced flowers and foliage during the UK growing season and provide funeral flowers from (MONTH) to (MONTH).

• I provide funeral flowers from (MONTH) to (MONTH), using only the flowers and foliage which I grow here in (Place).
