Summer gallery
Summer brings an abundance of choice as the UK flower growing season hits its stride and the weather warms. Peonies bloom from mid-May into June, and then the roses take up the role as centre-stage divas. There are plenty of locally grown flowers to choose from as seeds sown in spring are now starting to flourish and flower. In late summer, dahlias become the stars of the cutting patch and flower generously.
Months: June, July, August
