As Autumn begins, colours naturally turn to richer and more fiery shades. Dahlias keep flowering until the first frosts and hand over the late-blooming baton to chrysanthemums. The growing season stops as the frosts begin so we start to rely more on glasshouse grown crops, imports or dried ingredients from October until the arrival of Spring.
