How to make an eco-friendly funeral sheaf

A sheaf is one of the easiest arrangements to make without the use of any plastic. It is simply a large, flat-backed bouquet of flowers which can be constructed either as a single piece, or as multiple combined bouquets. The technique of combining bouquets or layering sheaves can be useful if you are trying to create a large scale funeral flower arrangement for the top of a casket.

BTW florists… please note, to spare your own blushes, that it’s called a sheaF not a sheaTH - that’s something entirely different! To help you remember, think of a sheaf of corn, rather than a condom.

Just saying!
